Mary Larson was born January 18, 1865 in Vensyel, Denmark. She came to the United States when she was 14 years old with her brother and sister. They made their home in Harlan, Iowa.
December 26, 1882 she was married to Richard Larson and to this union were born four sons and three daughters. Her husband preceded her in death on Nov. 9, 1927 at Herrick, South Dakota, also her brother the late Soren Larson of Harlan, Iowa.
She was a member of the Baptist Church and was one of the first members of the Danish Baptist Aid Society in Harlan, Iowa.
She is survived by her children John Larson of Atlanta, GA, Marcus Larson of Pleasant Hope, MO, Louis R. Larson of St. Louis, MO, Richard J. Larson of Harlan, Iowa, Christena Severns of Springfield, MO and Laura Abraham of Santa Ana, California and Jennie McNaulty of Melbourne, Flordia; one sister, Martena Adkins of Emmett, Idaho; 24 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great-grandchldren.
