Son of James Alexander McNair and first wife, Harriet "Hattie" A. Clendenning, husband of Pearl Eisenbeis, he worked his way up from the lowest positions to vice-president of Dollar Savings and Trust, a bank his grandfather, Arthur Clendenning, helped establish. He died in St. Clair Memorial Hospital from heart disease and a cerebral hemorrhage and was buried in Mt. Lebanon 11th Jan 1957. PA DC# 1014/22
