Ada Ethel, daughter of Elijah and Eliza Gardner, was born in Putnam County, Ind.
April 6th, 1893, and died Sept. 9, 1910, aged 17 years, 5 months and 3 days. She
was proceeded to the great beyond by mother, one brother, and one sister,
leaving behind father, three sisters and two brothers.

Ethel suffered much but endured all with patience. Although united with no
church she was a kind Christian girl, always doing each daily task cheerfully
and obediently. Ethel will be missed most by those who loved her best, but in
that beautiful land, the home of the soul she now awaits the coming of those she
loved so well.

Her funeral was conducted by Sister Martha Runyan at the home on South Illinois
Street on Sunday, Sept. 11 at 9 o'clock a.m. Her friends in token of their love
presented many very beautiful flowers. She was buried at the Doe Creek Cemetery
near Cloverdale.
