Thomas Wayne Pool, 73, of Valdosta, passed away on Saturday, August 29, 2020. He was born on May 10, 1947 in Fayetteville, TN to the late Willie Neal Pool and Gladys Myrtle Ashby Pool. Mr. Pool was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and retired as a desk clerk after 40 years in hospitality. He enjoyed woodworking and was a stranger to no one. Mr. Pool attended Redeemer Presbyterian Church and enjoyed fellowship with many people.
Mr. Pool is survived by his son Willie David (Jeanette) Pool, of Texas; his daughter Melissa Gail (Andrew) Smith, of Spokane, WA; his grandchildren Thomas James Pool, Mary Elizabeth Pool, both of Texas, Arrianna Leigh Smith, Jaron Michael Smith, Trenton Avery Smith, all of Spokane, WA; and a sister Alice Jewell Sloan, of Tennessee. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Jacqueline Louise Pool, and a brother Neal Pool.
