On February 18, 1869 Isaiah Griner was united in marriage with Martha J. Adair and to this union were born five children. They are: Alva Griner, of Vancouver, Washington; Levi Griner, Fairland, Indiana; D. A. Griner, of Wheatfield, Indiana; Miss Retta Frances McClain, at Rock Lane, Johnson County, and Mrs. George Sandals, of Whiteland, Indiana.
