Mrs. Sarah E, wife of Mr W L Hutchison, died at her home at Forest Hill, on Monday, June 14, 1915 at 1 o'clock a.m., of paralysis at the age of 61 years. She was stricken on Thursday, the 3rd of this month, and from the first her condition was regarded as extremely serious, and the news of her death while carrying more than the usual regret, was not unexpected to her family and many friends.

Mrs. Hutchison was survived by her husband, two daughters - Mrs Earl Lowe, of Indian Mills and Mrs Lee Tabor, of Greenbrier Springs, and five sons, viz: W C Hutchison, of Forest Hill; J D, Princeton, and J M, E O and Maura Hutchison, of Hinton; also by one sister, Mrs E E Hutchison, of this city, and N D and Fletch Ellis, of Greenville and P E Ellis of Forest Hill.

Mrs Hutchison was a Christian woman and a member of the Methodist church. As wife, mother, neighbor and friend, she was devoted, self-sacrificing and loyal and she will not only be missed in the home circle, but in the community in which she was so generally esteemed and well liked.

Funeral services were conducted Friday morning on June 18, 1915 at 11 o'clock, in the Baptist church at Forest Hill by Rev Chas Fink, of Talcott, and Rev Henry Dillon, of Indian mills. The burial followed in the cemetery nearby.

The Independent Herald extended its tenderest sympathy to those who have been bereaved by the leave-taking of this estimable woman.
