Carol Sue Harris, 76, of LaOtto, passed away Saturday, August 29, 2020 at her home. Born April 24, 1944 in Wolf Lake, she was the daughter of Cletus Sr. and Nora Murphy.
She graduated from Wolf Lake High School with the Class of 1962. On August 18, 1962, she married Ronnie Harris. Carol was a proud mother who worked for Victor Gasket and Magnavox and cleaned houses for numerous years before retiring. She was a member of Christ's Hope Ministries & Church. Carol enjoyed bowling and taking part in her church's women's ministries and bereavement dinners. She found relaxation in watching the Hallmark Channel and games shows along with any movie with Julia Roberts in it.
Carol is survived by her husband of 58 years, Ronnie Harris; daughters, Rhonda (Kevin) Dellinger and Stacey Harris; sister, Anna May Till; brother, Roy Murphy; granddaughters, Tara Folds and Morgan Dellinger, and 6 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; infant son, Scott Harris; sisters, Elizabeth Simon, Bessie Stabler, Alice Gaff and Rosie McGinnis; brothers, Cletus Murphy Jr, Charles "Bob" Murphy and Garad Murphy; and two great-great twin grandsons.
