Services for Edward Willard, 74, of Palestine will be Friday at 2 p.m. in Hassell & Foster Chapel with the Rev. Charles Grasty officiating. Burial will be Garden of Memories Cemetery, Elkhart.
Mr. Willard died Wednesday in Medical Center Hospital, Tyler, after a lengthy illness. He was born Sept. 12, 1910 in Fairfield, a son of Kirt and Nancy Gunter Willard. He had lived in Palestine for the past 49 years, and was employed as a package store salesman.
Survivors include his wife, Geneva Walston Willard; two sons Maurice and David Carl Willard, both of Palestine, three sisters, Mabel Tyus of Fort Worth, Margaret Eastman and Myrtle Stanaland, both of Palestine; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
