Diamond G. Fowler, 84, of Stigler died Nov. 19, in Sparks Regional Medical Center in Fort Smith, Ark. Services were Tuesday at 2 p.m. in Mallory Funeral Chapel with Rev. John Maxwell and Rev. Hercel Hickman officiating. Burial was in Stigler Cemetery. A retired rancher, Fowler was born Oct. 21, 1899 in Stigler. He was a member of Stigler Masonic Lodge 121 and the Odd Fellows Lodge.
Fowler is survived by his wife, Lela of the home; three sons, Marion D. of Fort Worth, Tex., Kenneth of Tulsa and Morris of Stigler; two sisters, Mary McSpadden and Blanche Forrester both of Stigler; 14 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one son, Wesley.
