Memorial services for Fred William Aldredge, 40, of 2021 Silver Bow Blvd., an engineer for Gilman Construction Co., will be Tuesday at 1:00 p.m. in Duggan Merrill Dolan Mortuary, 213 N. Montana, with the Rev. Robert Craver officiating. Mr. Aldredge died Saturday in Leavenworth, Washington, in an airplane crash. Three other persons also died in the accident. Mr. Aldredge's have been cremated. He was born April 16, 1940 in Burlington, Iowa to Frank and Irene Aldredge. He attended Drummond Hight School and had worked for Gilman for nearly six years. Before that he worked for the Federal Highway Administration. The Air Force veteran had lived in Butte for the past seven years. He was a member of the Teamsters Union. Survivors include his wife Sharon; son, Jim Aldredge of Orofino, Idaho; daughters, Lisa and Fawn Aldredge of Butte; parents, Merie and Irene Arrington of Fruitland, Idaho; brother, Jim Aldredge of Butte; stepbrothers, Terry Arrington of Idaho Falls and Dean Arrington of New York City; and grandmother, Bea Evans of Burlington, Iowa. Memorials are preferred to the Shriner's Crippled Children's Hospital.
