Mr. Bean is survived by his wife, Dorothy Sue Toon Bean; daughter, Judy (Leroy) Duren and son, Jimmy (Patsy) Bean, both of Mayfield; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Douglas and Mary Wade Bean.
Graveside services for Roy Bean will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 10th at Maplewood Cemetery, with Rev. Wes Fowler officiating. Those serving as pallbearers will be Jeffrey Duren, Leroy Duren, Jason Sullivan, Jon Bean, Jacob Farmer and Taylor Ramage. Military graveside rites will be performed by American Legion Post 26 of Mayfield. Byrn Funeral Home of Mayfield, KY is in charge of arrangements.
Friends may call on the family at the funeral home from 12:30-1:30 p.m. Sunday.
