John Wesley Leathers died November 21. Burial in Maple Hill cemetery. He was the son of Jonathan and Amanda Leathers, born November 16, 1895. He married Ola Clevenger March 16, 1921. They had six children, He leaves his widow and children Eugene, Veda and Maxine all of Fairfield, Donald and J.D. at home and two sisters, Mrs. Hershel Reid of E. Alton and Tillie Pierson of Beebe, Arkansas, and four brothers, Amos of E. Alton, Pearl and Walter of Cisne, and James of San Fernando, California.
