Last found on 1860 census in Marion, Union Parish, La. Born SC, married Tabitha Spier 11 April 1839 Pike Co, AL. 1840 & 1850 in Pike Co, Alabama. 1860, Marion, Union Par, La.
As he disappears from Census records after 1860, I am thinking he was killed in Civil War.

Known children are:
1-Nancy Rebecca who married William Hardy Hearn, died Sebastian Co, AR.
2-Mary Jane - mar Richard G Sirmon
3-Rachel - mar Wm K Stripling in Sebastian Cty, AR- died in that area
4-John W - mar Ada Bird
5-George W - mar Sarah "Sallie" Montgomery, widow of _____Beardon, raised her son, John Bearden
6-Sarah who married Adolphus Stripling in Alabama before coming to Union Parish.
