Don Harold Manning, born in Mart, TX August 1, 1928, passed away at his home Friday, September 7, 2007 at the age of 79. He was employed by KDBC-TV from December of 1952 to October of 1990. Mr. Manning served in the United States Navy during the Korean conflict. Don was a longtime charter member of Scotsdale Baptist Church. He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years Mary Beth and his daughter and son-in-law, Debbie Ruth and Phil Sheppard, of Coppell, TX. Visitation will be held Tuesday, September 11, 2007 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at Scotsdale Baptist Church, 10015 Lockerbie Av. Funeral Service to follow at 10:00 AM at Scotsdale Baptist Church and interment to follow at Fort Bliss National Cemetery with military honors. In lieu of flowers contribution may be made to Scotsdale Baptist Church, 10015 Lockerbie Av., El Paso, TX 79925, Buena Vida East Adult Day Care, 9640 Montwood Drive, El Paso, TX 79925 and Odyssey Healthcare, 7500 Viscount Blvd. El Paso, TX 79925. Services entrusted to Restlawn Funeral Home.
