Freddie Lyman Maxwell, age 73 of Bates City, Missouri, died Saturday, August 22, 2020 at his home.

Freddie was born in Clinton, Iowa on May 11, 1947 to Glynn C. and Alain M. (Vasos) Maxwell.

He married Vida May Foust on August 20, 1988 at Westville and she survives him.

Freddie was a truck driver and graduated from Marceline High School in 1965.

He loved working on cars, tractors and motorcycles and enjoyed riding motorcycles and hunting.

He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Higginsville.

He is survived by his wife Vida of the home in Bates City, his children, eighteen grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral services will be held at 12 Noon on Wednesday, August 26, 2020 at Delaney Funeral Home in Marceline with burial in Elmwood Cemetery, Marceline.

Visitation will be held from 10:30 until service time at the funeral home.

Memorials may be made to the family to help with funeral expenses and sent to Delaney Funeral Home 1720 N. Missouri Ave., Marceline, MO 64658.
