FREDERICK ALEXANDER
Le Roy - Frederick Halsted Alexander, 80, died yesterday (Apr. 25, 1951) in the home of his sons, James and Harold Alexander, 96 Myrtle St. He had been in poor health the past two years.
He was born in Le Roy, April 23, 1871, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Augustus Alexander, and has past all of his life here. On Oct. 9, 1900 he married Miss Mary Jones of Front Royal, Va., who died May 23, 1950.
Surviving besides his two sons in Le Roy, are another son Gerald; a daughter, Mrs. Bertha Alexander, and a brother, Charles Alexander, all of Rochester.
Friends may call today after 6 p.m. at the Steuber Funeral Home. The Rev. Cornelius V. Ford of the Second Baptist Church will officiate at funeral services at 1:30 p.m. Saturday. Burial will be in the Myrtle St., Cemetery.
