Sandra June Price, 78, of Waco, formerly of Arlington and Abilene, died suddenly Wednesday, August 19, 2020 at a Waco hospital. Born September 11, 1941, she was the daughter of late Arthur Luther Cooper and Ruth Margaret Simpson Cooper. She grew up in Goodland, Kansas, graduated from Muleshoe High School in 1959, attended and graduated from McMurry College, Abilene Christian University, and Hardin-Simmons University. She had a Master's degree in English and had taught in public and private schools. From Kansas, Texas, Illinois, Oklahoma and return to Texas, she taught for over 30 years. She was a member of Discover Church in Irving.
Preceded in death by her parents, siblings, Ralph, Doris, and Frances; the father of her children, Carlton Earp; and husbands Walter Price, Donald Smart, and Robert Beckwith, she is survived by her three children, Charles Duane Earp of Chicago, Illinois, John Edwin Earp of Jal, New Mexico and Traci Angela Tate of Waco; a brother, Harold Cooper of Columbia, Maryland; sisters, Pat McMahan of Granbury, Texas, and twin sister, Linda Taylor of Wyoming; sister-in-law, Vikki Davis of Frisco; thirteen grandchildren; and one great grandchild.
Funeral services are planned for 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 25, 2020 at Donnelly's Colonial Funeral Home Chapel, 606 West Airport Freeway in Irving, Texas 75062.
