Micheal Robert Allen passed away on August 20th, 2020 at the age of only 30 years old. He was born in Bakersfield, California on March 26th of 1990 to Robert Allen and the late Angela (Cunningham) Allen. Mike was a graduate of Mattawan High School and attended Central Methodist University where he played college Baseball and received his bachelor's degree in Liberal Arts. He seemed to excel at any sport but was an avid golfer and enjoyed playing golf with family and friends. Mike was a fan of the LA Dodgers, and enjoyed traveling. He had a smile that could light up any room and a way of making people laugh. Mike was loved by all and will be dearly missed.
Mike was preceded in death by his mother, Angie Allen. He is survived by: his father, Robert Allen and step-mom, Lisa Allen; brother, Paul Allen; sister, Kelsey Allen; step-siblings: Shelby (Skyler) Herendeen and Dylan Baas; grandma, Mary Jane Cunningham and many Aunts, Uncles and Cousins.
An outdoor memorial gathering for Mike will be held on Saturday, August 29, 2020 from 12-2:00 p.m. at 46788 Woodfield Drive, Mattawan, MI 49071. A private family graveside service will be held at Almena Cemetery.
