ERWIN BREDE DIES; ENGINEER AT CARBIDE
Erwin Carl Brede, 54, architectural engineer at Carbide and Carbon Chemicals Division, South Charleston, died yesterday in a Charleston hospital after a short illness. He lived at 306 Riverside Drive, South Charleston.
Mr. Brede, a native of Collinsville, Illinois, was born March 4, 1897. He was graduated from University of Illinois in 1922 and had been employed at Carbide 15 years. He was a veteran of World War I.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Pauline Brede; a son, Charles of Charleston; two sisters, Mrs. Elfreida Brede, Collinsville, Illinois, and Mrs. E. Schaefer, Fort Wayne, Indiana.
The body is at Snodgrass mortuary.
Service will be at 11 a.m. tomorrow at St. Timothy Lutheran Church with the Rev. Robert Gibson officiating.. The body will be taken to the church one hour before services.
