OLNEY,Texas-Vernon Cline Magee, 87, died Tuesday at a Olney hospital.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Megargel Church of Christ with Ed Jones, Minister of the Sherman Church of Christ officiating. Burial will be in Megargle Cemetery under the direction of Lunn Funeral Home.
He was born July 14, 1899, in Carrollton, Ill. He and Gladys Cline were married Jan 6, 1920, in Ferndale Mich.
Survivors include his wife, three sons, Howard and Walter of Megargel and George of Dearborn, Mich; two daughters, Edith Econom of Canton , Mich., and Hazel McQueen of Megargel, a brother , Austin McGee of Fort Lauderdale, Fla.; 18 grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren.
