Gladys Haywood Armstrong age 102 of Neosho, Mo. died on November 11th 2015.

She was born near Ellington in Reynolds County Missouri to William F and Amy Haywood on October 14, 1913. She was a retired school teacher, having taught in the school systems of Missouri and Arkansas. Gladys was a member of the Church of Christ, devoted to her Christian Faith and to her family.

She was preceded in death by her husband Ross Armstrong. Survivors include one daughter; Avanelle Starks of Neosho, two grandchildren; Michael Johnson and wife Patricia of Tom Ball, Tx., Kelly Johnson of Neosho, three great-grandsons; Matthew and Erick Johnson of Tom Ball, Tx., and Randall Scott Johnson of Springdale, Ar., and one great-granddaughter; Kerrah Nicole Lundy and husband Chris of Anderson, Mo.

Funeral services have been scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Monday, November 16, 2015 at the First Baptist Church in Pineville, Mo. Bobby Dockery, Minister, will officiate. Burial will follow at Pineville Cemetery. The family will receive friends during a time of visitation prior to the service beginning at 1:00 p.m. Monday.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Mason-Woodard Mortuary & Crematory.
