Carolyn K. Coulson, 59, of 2559 E. County Road 2300, LaHarpe, died at 6:20 a.m. Saturday (April 30, 2005) in the Timberpoint Healthcare Center in Camp Point.

Carolyn was born Aug. 14, 1945, in Macomb, a daughter of Coolidge Sims and Viola Mixer Russell.

She worked as a nurse's aide at the Sycamore Healthcare Center in Quincy. Carolyn enjoyed volunteer work at the Eagles and crocheting and also enjoyed spending time with her family.

Survivors include a son, Richard Roth and his wife, Karen, of Augusta; three daughters, Pam McBride and Joanne Roth, both of Quincy, and Lori Lierly of LaHarpe; and a brother, Terry Sims and his wife, Dorothy, of Quincy. Also surviving are 15 grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Penny Roth; and a brother.

Services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday in the Duker and Haugh Funeral Home in Quincy. Burial will be in Mound Prairie Cemetery in Beverly. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the family.
