NORFOLK - William Lundy of 1065 Lindenwood Ave., the husband of Mrs. Ethel M. Lundy and a native of Jarratt, Greensville County, Va., died Wednesday in a hospital.

He was a 33-year member of International Longshoremen's Association Local 1248 and retired. He attended the Pentecostal Church.

Other survivors include five daughters, Mrs. Lavern O. Hines, Mrs. Jacqueline Cuffee, Mrs. Betty J. Smithwrick, and Ms. Cynthia J. Lundy of Norfolk, and Mrs. Norma Wilson of Charlotte, N.C.; two sons, Walter Lundy of Chesapeake and Elder Stanley Lundy of Norfolk; two sisters, Mrs. Bernice James of Norfolk and Ms. Cecil Lundy of Jarratt; 25 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

A funeral will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. in St. Paul Church of God in Christ by Dr. Wilbert Daniels. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Gardens, Chesapeake, with Graves Funeral Home in charge. The family will assemble at his home.
