Dorilese Marie Whitaker, 89, of Bushnell passed away on August 16, 2020 at home with her family by her side. She was born on February 16, 1931 in Iaeger, West Virginia to Hiland and Lakie Cline. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Bushnell.
Dorilese is survived by her daughters: Carol (Gary) Fisher of Jacksonville, FL, Tina (Casey) Rowe of Wakeman, OH, and Patricia (Patrick) Rice of Bushnell, FL; grandchildren: Scott, Melissa, Tammy, Shawna, Anya, C?la, Charles, Dustin, and J.T. She is also survived by 13+ great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren. Dorilese was preceded in death by: husband, Max S. Whitaker; son: Johnny Cline; grandson: Charles J. Carpenter; parents: Hiland Cline and Lakie Cline.
Services will be on Friday, August 21, 2020 at 12:00 p.m. (visitation will be from 11:00-12:00 p.m.) at Purcell Chapel, 114 W. Noble Ave., Bushnell with Pastor Casey Ferguson officiating. A committal service will follow at 1:30 p.m. at the Florida National Cemetery.
