James Michael "Mitchell" Kirby, 79 of Murfreesboro, TN formerly of Quality, KY passed away Sunday, August 16, 2020 at the Stonecrest Medical Center in Smyrna, TN. Mitchell was born November 8, 1940 in Muhlenberg County, Kentucky to the late James Edward and Era Nell Davidson Kirby. He was a United States Army Veteran and retired mechanic and truck driver. Mitchell loved camping, fishing and being with family and friends. Other than his parents he is preceded in death by one sister Brenda Jones; one brother Greg Kirby and one grandson Christopher Henderson.

Boston, KY, Elizabeth Reynolds (Charlie) of Hillsboro, IN and Donna Russell (Steve) of Wellford, SC; sister in law Rosie Kirby of Huntsville, KY and several nieces and nephews.
