Born near Friend, he had lived in Wymore seven years before moving to Lincoln in 1918. He was a Burlington conductor for 45 years. He was a member of Masonic lodge 104 in Wymore.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Hodgman-Splain. Rev. John Douglas Clyde will officiate. Burial will be in Lincoln Memorial Park.
Survivng are his wife, Hazel, and daughter, Miss Halcyon Allsman, both of Lincoln.
