Lloyd E. Boelling

Lloyd E. Boelling, 91, of Springfield, passed away at 2:30 a.m. Saturday, November 9, 2002 at Memorial Medical Center. Lloyd was born September 14, 1911 the son of Edward and Pearl Johnson Boelling in Posey, IL. He married Lillian Alexander on November 21, 1940 at St. Joseph Catholic Church and she preceded him in death on April 15, 1997.

He retired from Allis Chambers with over 30 years of service. He was a member of Knights of Columbus Council #4179 and Church of the Little Flower.

He was also preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by two daughters: Nancy (husband, John) Nance of Springfield and Patricia (husband, Roger Adams) Fleiszig-Adams of Dayton, OH; two sisters: Geneva Pogorel of San Diego, CA and Alvie Lueking of Hamel, IL; five grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Concelebrated Funeral Mass at Church of the Little Flower with Fr. Chuck Edwards principal celebrant. Burial at Calvary Cemetery.
