Funeral services for Mrs. Nannie Self Jarrell, 73, of Evans, will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, December 2, in the Evans Congregational Methodist Church with the Revs. I. D. Noble and Melvin Smith officiating. Burial will be in the Evans Cemetery under the direction of Hixson Funeral Home, Leesville.
Mrs. Jarrell died Saturday, Dec. 1 in Byrd Memorial Hospital of Leesville. She was a native of Cloudy, Okla., but was a resident of the Evans area most of her life. She was a member of the Evans Congregational Methodist Church and was a retired Civil Service worker.
Survivors include two daughters, Vicky Thomas and Betty Jarrell, both of Evans; two sons, Victor Larry and Ronald Jarrell, both of Evans; one sister, Ollie Delotte of Deweyville, Texas; one brother, William D. Self of Hemphill, Texas; and eight grandchildren.
Visitation will be at the church Sunday.
