Robert L. Johnson, 78, passed away of causes incident to age, October 18, 2003 in Salt Lake City.
He married Helen Katherine Davich in Salt Lake City on April 6, 1946. Robert served in the United States Navy during World War II and was honorably discharged in 1946. He and his wife Helen owned and operated the Park Tailoring and Dry Cleaning Company in Huntington Park, California from 1948 to 1999 when they retired. They resided in California for 52 years.
He is survived by one sister Phyllis (Murray) Ellis, Palm Desert, CA. Also survived by his brother-in-law, Rev. Msgr. George F. Davich, sister-in-laws, Eva Blockovich, Madeline Martin, and Kathryn Bollen. Preceded in death by his wife Helen, two sons, a sister and brothers.
Graveside services will be Wednesday, October 22, 2003, at 11 a.m. at Mt.Calvary Cemetery, 4th Avenue and T Street. Funeral Directors, Neil O'Donnell and Sons.
The family expresses their gratitude to the Midtown Manor Convalescent Center for the kind and compassionate care for Robert the past two years.
