Sandra “Charlie” Marr, 71, passed away on March 9, 2014 in Dallas, Texas, where she has resided for the past 5 years. Charlie was a long time resident of Oak Ridge North, prior to her move to north Texas. She received her BS from the University of Houston. Charlie worked at Tenneco for 20 years before retiring to focus on her family. Charlie was an expert Gardner, frequently judging flower shows; she was a long time member of The Woodlands and the Texas Garden Clubs. She was preceded in death by her husband Jack and her parents. Surviving Charlie are her daughter Melisa Allen and her husband Brandon, of Dallas TX; her daughter Michele Culpepper and her husband Dean, of Lubbock TX; her brother-in-law Jerry Marr and his wife Marion; and her 5 grandchildren.
