Eagleville, Mo. - Mrs. Eva Johnston, 90, died Thursday at a Mount Ayr, Iowa, hospital.
She was the widow of Sam Johnston and a life-long resident of Eagleville and Hatfield. She had been living in a Bethany nursing home in recent years.
She was a member of the Lone Rock Church northwest of Eagleville.
Survivors include two sons, Oran Johnston, Hatfield, and Everett Johnston, Eagleville; two daughters, Mrs. Sylvia Sweeney and Mrs. Lottie Snead, both of Blythedale, Mo; two sisters, Mrs. Vergie Jones and Mrs. Clella Parkhurst, Ottowa, Kan., 10 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Lone Rock Church. H.A. Reynolds and Paul Campbell will officiate. Burial will be in the Payne Cemetery near the church.
