FRANCES PARTON BAGGERLY
Frances A. Parton was born December 21, 1844, at Peola, Ind., and was united in marriage to Isaac Baggerly at Scottsville, Ind., March 15, 1863. To this union nine children were born, three proceeding her in death, Harbert C. died March 17, 1877, Pearl A. in 1928, and Charles E. in 1933.

Those living are Mrs. Alice Jones, Scammon, Kan.; Mrs. Anna Lasley, San Bardlno. Texas; Mrs. Florence Bowerman, Norman, Okla ; Mrs. Edyth Skinner, Tulsa, Okla.; Mrs. Emma Butler, Hatfield, Mo.; and Glen J. Baggerly, Davenport, Iowa.

Mrs. Baggerly was baptized into the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in 1870 at Crawford county, Indiana by Elder W. W. Blair.

In 1875 she came to Iowa with her husband and located on a farm near Pleasanton, Iowa, a year or two later moving to the vicinity of Lone Rock, Mo., where they lived for many years coming to Lamoni to reside about 1891.

Her companion preceded her in death about 18 years passing in July 1916. For the past 16 years, she has been making her home with her children.

Death occurred at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Florence Bowerman, Norman, Oklahoma, May 19, 1934. Elder J. D. Stead had charge of the service with T. J. Bell preaching the sermon. Interment was in Lone Rock cemetery.
