Paislee Alford

GREENVILLE — Funeral services for Paislee Deana Alford, 10, of Greenville, were held Thursday at the Greater Tabernacle Church on Burning Bush Drive, Greenville. Paislee reached the arms of Jesus on Monday, June 8, 2020, surrounded by her loving parents and twin sister at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital after a long courageous fight against Osteosarcoma.

Paislee never lost faith in her battle, always displaying her beautiful smile and strength through it all. She truly loved life and all it had to offer her each day by enjoying her big sisters horses, swimming with her family and friends and being a very proud aunt to her nieces and nephews. Paislee exemplified true strength in all that she endured and was an inspiration to all who knew her.

Paislee was preceded in death by her uncle, William D. Evans Jr.; grandfather, Larry Fulton; and great-grandparents, Charles W. and Hazel V. Crocker and William H. and Mary L. Ballard; and her battle buddies at St. Jude who met her at Heaven’s gate.

Left to cherish her memory and continue her story are her parents, Patrick and Amy Alford; siblings, Rose (Patrick) Boswell, Chyenne (Payton Adams) Alford, Katie (Scott Chamblee) Alford, her twin sister, Presilee Alford, and Bryson Alford. The ones who made her the proudest, aunt, Ansleigh Adams and Elayna, Jace, Carter, and Maci-Kay Boswell. Grandparents Yvonne (Larry) Thompson, Charles (Faye) Crocker, Linda Fulton, and Robert (Tammy) Alford; several aunts and uncles and friends; and her endless amount of St. Jude families whom she loved and cherished as her own.
