Glasgow Man Dies
Glasgow, June 28--Charles A. Tilton died at the Deaconess hospital Saturday morning. He was born in Maine, May 2, 1857. For the past 12 years he had made his home with his son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Bert Jones of Glasgow. Burial will be made Monday.
Husband of Julia M Cavannaugh who died in Kirkland, Washington 26 Jan 1930.
Son of William Furniss Tilton 1810-1861 and Lucy Allen 1817-1904.
Father of Alta Lucy Tilton, born in 1889 in Minnesota. She married Albert Ray "Bert" Jones in 1915. Alta died in Alexandria, Virginia on 30 June 1973 according to family trees at Ancestry.com. Cannot determine where Bert died. The Bert Jones in this cemetery is not him.
Buried 6/29/1931 in plot owned by self.
