CHILD DIES OF DIPHTHERIA.
Contracted Disease From Infant – Death Rate High for March.
Stella A. Rence, the 5-year-old daughter of Karl Rence of No. 111 Titus alley, died at 1 o’clock this morning from diphtheria. Recently a 1-year-old child was found to be suffering from diphtheria while the mother had it at a physician’s office. She took it home, and anti-toxin was given. The child recovered, but its older sister became ill with the disease and failed to survive.
