Rebecca Anne Barwick was born November 2, 1941 in Thomasville Georgia, to the late John Stancil Barwick, Sr. and the late Susie Ethel Wimberley Barwick. In 1945 they relocated to Pahokee, FL where she was predominately raised and attended school. Throughout her abundant and rich life Rebecca, affectionately know by her numerous loved ones as Becky, achieved many accomplishments including graduating from college with a degree in Computer Science, and having two children, a son Wade, and daughter Chris.

Becky was a loving sister, mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend. She was dedicated to making time to be there and make her loved ones feel special. One of the things she is famously remembered for is her stunning ability as a brilliant, creative, and talented artist specializing in multiple areas of all forms of artwork. Becky used her gifts to bring the world copious amounts of joy and happiness with her art. Her creations include amazing murals, paintings, and sculpting. Her artistic legacy can be found in many homes of friends, family, and complete strangers who simple loved her work.

Rebecca Anne Barwick was preceded in death by her paternal and maternal grandparents, both of her parents, J.S. Barwick, and Susie Ethel Barwick, her brother John Barwick Jr., and her sister Genie Hastings.

She is survived by her children son Wade Vickers, and wife Carrie Vickers, daughter Chris Vickers Edwards, and husband Aaron Edwards; grandchildren, Jessica Vickers daughter of Wade, Keith Lawrence son of Chris.

Becky is also survived by her sisters, Susan Barwick, Laurie Barwick Hilliard, and brother Jeff Barwick. She is survived by many nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly.
