Mrs. Ida Fulton Bevins, 71, of Coaldale, died Saturday morning at her home following a long illness. She was born in Russell County, Va., daughter of the late Robert Fulton and Nellie Horne Fulton.
She had been a resident of Coaldale for the past 33 years. She was a member of the Missionary Baptist Church at Keystone.
Survivors include her husband, Alvin P. Bevins of Coaldale; one daughter, Mrs. Howard (Nellie) Davidson of Coaldale; three sons, Lewis Bevins of Northfork, Charles Bevins of Coaldale and Edward Bevins of Pageton; one brother, Howard Fulton of Hampton, Va.; two sisters, Mrs. Conley Meade of Kingsport, Tenn., and Mrs. Stella Bevins of Castlewood, Va.; 17 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted Monday at 11 a.m. at Craven-Shires Funeral Home Chapel at Bluewell with Rev. C. C. Bevins officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park Cemetery at Bluewell. Friends may call at the Craven-Shires Funeral Home today from 5 to 9 p.m.
