Death at 9:40 last evening claimed Mrs. Lena E. Palmer, 61, wife of Charles Palmer, Third street, after an illness dating from January, 1937.

Lena E. Lane was born at Catskill, N.Y., on May 1, 1876, a daughter of the late Emory and Jennie Foster Lane. She became the bride of Chas. Palmer of Camden at Camden on December 25, 1895, the Rev. Mr. Johnson of the M. E. Church performing the ceremony. All of her married life has been spent in Camden where she was a member of the Methodist Episcopal Church and the North Asbury Circle.

Surviving besides her husband are eleven children, Leon, Russell, Mrs. Ralph Coady and Charles Jr., Camden; Mrs. Frank Hannay, Ward Palmer, Mrs. Howard Segonia and Miss Mina Palmer, Syracuse; Mrs. Leonard Ellis, Dansville; Mrs. George Wood, Oneida; Mrs. William Schwab, Schenectady; 16 grandchildren; 1 brother, Walter Lane, Syracuse; 1 sister, Mrs. Bessie Russell, Syracuse.

Funeral services will be held at the B.A. Sanborn & Son Funeral home Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock, the Rev. T. J. Williams pastor of M. E. Church officiating. Burial will be in Forest Park cemetery.
