Was the son of Mortimer & Alice Gregory and moved to Caddo County in 1906 with his family & lived in a dugout 3 miles west of Binger, Ok. Roy Married Martha Ann (Mattie) Tucker on 12-23-1925, they had 4 children Laverna, Bernice, Erma Jean & Leroy. He was a WWI vet. he also attended Centerville School and then served on the school board in 1939-1940 this is when they school would be closed. the community had to sign a petition for Centerville to be transfered to Lookeba Schoolinstead of Binger, & that is how Lookeba was able to hold their school. Mattie died in 1936 and Roy never remarried
