R.C. Scott, 88, of Osceola died Friday, September 07, 2007 at SMC Regional Medical Center in Osceola. Born Monday, April 21, 1919 in Vernon, AL to the late Sam L. Scott and Pearl Woods Scott, he was of the Baptist faith and an auto mechanic. He is survived by two sons, Bobby Joe Scott and R.C. Scott, Jr. both of Osceola; five daughters: Patricia Ann Turner, Peggy Gale Pickens, and Mary Margaret Scott all of Osceola, Linda Kay Thurston of Nappanee, IN and Joyce Lucille Hayes of Cabot; three brothers: Clyde Scott of Amory, MS, Joe Scott and Jack Scott both of Osceola; twelve grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren, and one great- great grandchild. He was preceded in death by his wife Birdie Margaret Scott, one brother Kedrick Scott, and three sisters: Myrtle Willing, Lucille Watson, and Ruby Farmer.
