Hold Final Service For Henry Pearson

Funeral services for Henry Pearson, 46, long-time resident of Maxwell, who passed away Sunday morning due to a heart attack, were held Tuesday afternoon at the Maxwell Church of Christ, with the pastor, the Rev. Elmer Baker, officiating.

Mrs. Alice Gooden sang the hymn 'Nearer My God to Thee" with Mrs. Laura Pearson accompanist at the organ.

Pall bearers were John I Kimberley, Fred and Harold Kimberley, George A. and Charles Kimberley and Charles Swalwell.

Floral tributes of love and esteem were beautiful and profuse.

Burial was in the Peoria cemetery.

Rev. Baker read the following brief life sketch during the services.

Henry Hutson Pearson, son of Nathan H. and Ruth A. Pearson, was born Sept. 12, 1903, on the home farm at Peoria City, Iowa. He passed away in his mother's home at Maxwell, Iowa, Sept. 11, 1949, at the age of the 45 years, 11 months and 29 days. He joined the Church of Christ in Maxwell early in youth and was a member of Herald Lodge No. 455 A. F. & A. M.

Surviving are his mother, Mrs. Ruth Pearson of Maxwell, one brother, John of St. Paul, Minn., and half-sister, Mrs. Rose Osborn, and two half-brothers, N. Jay and Ernest Pearson in Maxwell.
