Married last evening, at the house of Charles Biddle, Esq, William Lardner, Esq of the county of Philadelphia, to Miss Ann Shepard, an amiable young lady of North Carolina.

Poulson's American Daily Advertiser, 15 May 1811
Died, on Tuesday, the 7th inst after a very short illness, Mrs. Ann Lardner, wife of William Lardner, Esquire. The death of this amiable lady has deprived a numerous family of a most affectionate wife and mother, and society of a member whose whole life was uniformly correct and exemplary. The recent death of a beloved daughter had produced a shock which even her habituated piety and resignation could not sustain, and by preying deeply on her sensibility, contributed to weaken her resistance to the severe disease which terminated her life.
