Ada Mae Rowlett, 78, of Aurora, Indiana, passed away Sunday April 21, 2019 in Rising Sun, Indiana. She was born April 6, 1941 in Ohio, daughter of the late James Peak and Vella (Craig) Bowman. Ada worked as a Packer and Fork Lift operator for Anchor Glass, retiring after over 35 years of service. She was a member of New Life Southern Baptist Church, and she attended Hope Baptist Church.

Ada was an Anchor Glass Retiree and she looked forward to getting together with the other retirees each month. She loved to eat out every Tuesday with "Willie's Friends". Ada Mae enjoyed going antiquing, mowing the yard, working out in the yard and going shopping. She just loved spending time with her friends and family, no matter what she was doing.

Ada Mae is survived by her children, Paula (Joey) Meyer of Aurora, IN, Michael (Kathy) Storey of Aurora, IN, Terry Storey of Aurora, IN, Ryan (Angie) Storey of Moores Hill, IN; step sons, Mark "Shorty" Rowlett of Jeffersonville, IN, Matt Rowlett of Manchester, IN; brother, Bobby Peak of Mercer, PA; grandchildren, Ryan (Ashley) Meyer, Markie (Joey) Smith, Sara (Donnie Getz) Storey, Paul (London) Storey, Lucas Storey, Desire Ascherman, Hunter (Donna) Storey, Merdth Paris, Allie Storey, Skylar Storey, Kody (Hillary) Storey, Mitchell (Rylee Brogan) Storey, Zach (Leah) Storey, Quinton Rowlett, Mark Rowlett, Brandon (Jessica) Rowlett, Brian Rowlett III; 14 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Herbert Rowlett, 2 sisters, 1 brother, 1 step son and 1 step daughter.

Friends will be received Saturday, April 27, 2019, 11:00 am - 2:00 pm at the Hope Baptist Church, 15593 US 50, Dillsboro, Indiana 47018.

Services will be held at the church at 2:00 pm with Pastor Tom Holt officiating.

Private Interment will follow.
