He was born Oct. 28, 1915, in Springfield, the son of Hugh and Margaret Luby Allison. Before his retirement, he was a state agent for Continental Insurance Co.
Mr. Allison was a member of the VFW Post of Cape Girardeau and served with the U.S. Navy during World War II. Preceding him in death were his parents and one son, John, in 1983.
Surviving are his wife, Mildred Parker Allison; one son; six grandchildren.
Services at Blessed Sacrament Church. Burial in Calvary Cemetery.
