Dorothy Lee McClure Moore, age 87, of Adona, Arkansas, passed away Monday, August 3, 2020. She was born January 9, 1933 in Formosa, Arkansas, a daughter of Charlie McClure and Velma Branham McClure. She was the widow of William Kermot Moore. Dorothy was a beautician for over 30 years and a member of Welcome Home Missionary Baptist Church. She wrote Adona News for many years, she loved her family, quilting, hummingbirds, gardening, her church, and singing.
She is survived by her sons, Larry L. (Charlotte) Moore of Thornburg, Kenneth R. (Gail) Moore of Vilonia, Keith (Denise) Moore of Adona, and Roger L. (Karen Sue) Moore of Adona; daughter, Susan (James) DeVolld of Perryville; brother, Roy (Katherine) McClure of Plumerville; grandchildren, Michelle Moore, Michael Moore, Justin Cranmer, Erik Moore, Christopher DeVolld, Casey DeVolld, and Brannigan Moore; and great grandchild, Mikeala Moore. Other than her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Katarina Moore, and seven siblings.
Graveside services will be 11:15 a.m. Friday, August 7, at McGhee Cemetery with Bro. Cleo Young and Bro. John Williams officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, at the funeral home.
