Angeline Self (daug of Sam Self & Elsa Eaton?) was born in May 1832 in Missouri, probably Wright County.

She married about 1847/8 to ? MOBLEY. They had a son, Isaac Stephen in Nov. 1848.
Her husband died between July and Nov 1850, when she was on the census as a widow.
In April, 1851 she had another Mobley baby: Jerry J.

She married 2nd about 1854 to Sterling Shipp in Texas County. Sterling was a widower with 3 children (Jonathan Yancy, Sarah A, Lemuel M). They had 10 children together:
Mary G (1855), James Thomas (1857), Amanda M (1860), Nancy J. (1861/d? bef 1875), Louisa (1863), Martha E. (1864), William H. (1866), Pheebe Tennesssee (1867/d bef 1880), Samuel L. (1868-1910), Minna E. (1871-1944)

The family moved to Kansas about 1863/4, first to Stanton County, in Johnson (twp) where they were in 1865.
In 1870 they were in Miami County in Marysville Township. Son Isaac Mobley moved back to Texas County, MO and stayed there. Perhaps there were relatives there.

Angeline was a widow again by 1875 and had moved a little south to Linn Co, KS. Her other Mobley son, Jerry married in 1874 and stayed in Miami County.

In 1880 Angeline was back in Miami Co, KS, but living in Paola.

Sometime before 1900 she moved to Dallas, Texas with her daughter Minnie Shipp Carroll.

Angeline probably died in Jan. 1901 in Dallas, age 68. She was buried in Oakland Cemetery there, along with daug. Minnie Carroll (in 1955) and son Sam Shipp (In 1944).
