Final Rites were conducted from the Steele Baptist Church on Oct 6, for Mrs. Belle Aycock Sharp, who passed away October 5 following a short illness. Mrs. Sharp, a native Scott Countian, who had lived in the Steele community for the past sixty-five years, was 89 years old. Rev. Hubert Gardner, assisted by Rev. J. B. Miller, officiated at the services, and burial followed in the Antioch Cemetery.

Survivors include: one son; Milton Sharp; one daughter, Mrs. Bertha Guthrie; both of Harperville; six grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Georgia Champion of Forkville, and Mrs. Mollie Banks of Choudrant, La.; and a host of nieces and nephews. Pallbearers were her grandsons, Clyde, Kenneth and Kermit Walters, Jack Sharp, Jack Johnson, and Rudolph Germany.
Ott and Lee Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
