In the Shadow. The funeral of Mrs. Lena Tinkler was held at the Methodist church Sunday afternoon, Rev, Martin, pastor of the Christian church, and Rev. Embree, new pastor of the Methodist church, conducting the services. Besides her husband, she leaves a daughter, Mrs. C. N. Johnson, of this city, Hanna' Johnson, who is here recently from Gypsum, Kansas, and five sons, also of that city. Mrs. Tinkler, when a small child, was educated in the Roman Catholic church but later turned to the Christian faith. She was a strong believer in the union of the churches, a faithful friend and a Kind and loving mother. It was her wish that she should have her last resting place in the sunny southland. She leaves many friends, whom she has made on her previous visits here, and relatives, to mourn the loss of a rare and wonderful companion.
