Missy was the family pet. Missy was
the nickname given by her father. She
is remembered as having a gentle nature.
Missy died at forty eight. She died of flu
during the terrible time when whole
families lay dying, alone, because others
feared to go among them. Sissy and
Andrew were parents of three daughters.
Andrew remarried a Miss Ava Snow
and they went on to have two more
daughters. See: FROM TAP ROOT TO
TWIGS by George Helen Gunnin
Mishasek.
