Clyde Ray Hicks, 87, of Staley, died Friday, July 31, 2020 at Maple Leaf Health Care in Statesville.

Private Funeral Services, 11 AM, Tuesday, August 4, 2020, at Loflin Funeral Home Chapel, Ramseur.

Officiating, Rev. Travis Brock.

Burial, Moon's Chapel Baptist Church, Siler City.

Clyde was a native of Randolph County and a life long resident on Staley. He retired from Ramtex where he worked as a warp hanger. Clyde also farmed and grew tobacco and wheat. He was a veteran of the United States Army. Clyde was preceded in death by his son, Ray Hicks, parents John and Lona Langley Hicks, daughter-in-law, Connie Hicks

Survivors: daughters, Joanne McDaniel, and husband, Tommy, of Troutman, Dianne Lucas, and husband, Pete, of Statesville, Lynn Bryant, husband, Mitchell, of Mooresville, sister, Eva Brower, and husband, Randall, of Siler City , eleven grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren, four great-great-grandchildren, and a niece.
